Recently, Gucci Watch launched a new Interlocking series watch designed by creative director Frida Giannini in Wenzhou. The collection includes several different styles, but all of them highlight the Gucci brand’s double ‘G’ interlocking logo. As one of Gucci’s most well-known logos, the double ‘G’ interlocking logo was first used in the early 1960s and is an acronym for the brand’s founder Guccio Gucci.
Interlocking series watches come in two sizes-surface diameter of 37 mm or 29 mm. The design of the surface is minimalist and abstract. The pointer is thin and tapered. The brand identity ‘Gucci’ is at 12 o’clock and ‘Swiss Made’ (Swiss Made) is at 6 o’clock.
